Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of Startwork products, websites, desktop applications, APIs, team workspaces, model integrations, billing features, and related services.
Service
- Startwork provides AI collaboration, team workflows, model access, usage analytics, billing, desktop Tray functionality, and related administration capabilities.
- Service availability and feature scope may vary by product version, plan, organization configuration, administrator settings, and third-party provider availability.
- Some features depend on the local Tray, third-party model providers, payment services, notification services, cloud infrastructure, or organization administrator configuration.
Accounts and Organizations
- You are responsible for providing accurate account and organization information and for protecting your credentials, devices, and access tokens.
- Organization administrators may manage members, permissions, models, billing, logs, data retention, and team settings. Members must follow the rules of their organization.
- If you become aware of unauthorized access, credential compromise, or other security risks, you should notify your organization administrator or Startwork promptly.
Acceptable Use
- You may not use Startwork for unlawful activity, infringement, system abuse, permission circumvention, excessive resource abuse, or activity that disrupts service stability.
- You may not upload, process, or transmit malicious code, unlawful data, infringing material, prohibited sensitive content, or data you are not authorized to use.
- You are responsible for ensuring that data submitted, processed, synced, or forwarded through Startwork is lawfully obtained and used in compliance with applicable law and organization requirements.
AI Output and Third-Party Services
- AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You should evaluate output with appropriate human judgment.
- Startwork may help organizations connect to third-party models, cloud services, payment services, and notification services. Those services may be governed by their own terms, availability, pricing, safety, and data processing practices.
- You should not rely on AI output as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, hiring, credit, safety-critical, or other high-risk decisions.
Fees and Plans
- Paid features, seats, credits, model usage, shared supply, payments, refunds, invoices, and settlement rules are governed by the product pages, orders, organization configuration, or other confirmed terms.
- Fees and available capabilities may change due to third-party provider pricing, exchange rates, taxes, plan changes, or infrastructure costs.
- Organization administrators are responsible for usage, charges, and resource consumption generated within their organization.
Intellectual Property and Data
- Startwork and its software, interfaces, trademarks, documentation, technical designs, and service content are owned by Startwork or the relevant rights holders.
- You or your organization retain rights to business data, code, documents, projects, and other content lawfully uploaded, entered, created, or synced through Startwork.
- You authorize Startwork to process such data as necessary to provide, maintain, protect, and improve the services.
Changes and Termination
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where needed for product development, security, compliance, operations, or provider-related reasons.
- If you violate these Terms, applicable law, or organization rules, Startwork may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts, organizations, or services to the extent necessary.
- After termination, data retention, deletion, export, and billing matters will be handled according to the Privacy Policy, organization configuration, legal requirements, and applicable agreements.
Limitations of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, Startwork is not liable beyond legally required or agreed limits for losses caused by third-party service failures, network issues, user configuration errors, unauthorized access, force majeure, or user breach of these Terms.
- Liability for indirect damages, lost profits, business interruption, data loss, goodwill loss, or replacement service costs is limited by applicable law and valid agreements between the parties.
